Gin Discovery Experience - Discover Spirits CBR

Join us for a hands-on exploration into the craft of gin making, hosted by Hold Fast Distillery.

This engaging midday session will unravel how gin is built from the ground up — starting with the base spirit and moving through the delicate balance of botanicals that shape each style. Guests will learn where individual botanicals sit within the flavour profile, how they interact, and why distillers choose particular combinations to create everything from bright citrus-led gins to deep, spicy, resinous expressions.

You’ll have the chance to taste and compare botanicals across different gin styles, gaining a clearer understanding of how each element contributes to aroma, flavour, and finish.

We’ll also introduce our Hold Fast Gin School, a unique experience where participants craft their own gin using their choice of botanicals and take home a 500ml bottle of their personalised creation.

Whether you’re a gin lover, a beginner, or simply curious about the craft, this session offers an informative and enjoyable look into the art of distilling.
